The climbing terrain created for the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup was the first of its kind anywhere in the world. The structure was temporary, framed with scaffolding, and employed the technology used to create ice skating surfaces to make a 40’ tall wall of vertical ice. Of all the climbing wall manufacturers, Eldo was the best for the job.
5% of every DIY Climbing Panel sale is donated to Paradox Sports, a nonprofit that seeks to revolutionize lives through adaptive climbing opportunities that defy convention.
Since 2007, Paradox events have been a place to connect, push limits, and change beliefs about what’s possible with a disability. Through their Adaptive Climbing Initiative course, local climbing clubs, and national climbing trips, otheir goal is to make climbing accessible to all.
Eldorado built the climbing wall in the Variety Boys & Girls Club in Los Angeles, CA, in partnership with the nonprofit 1Climb. 1Climb partners with Boys & Girls Clubs across the U.S. with the goal of intro-ducing 100,000 kids to climbing. The folks at Eldo truly believe everyone should climb and this nonprofit is helping make that a reality.
