The ice wall cometh.
For two brilliant days in Denver, CO, all eyes turned to the colossal climbing structure Eldorado Climbing Walls designed and constructed for the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup Championship. Towering 50 feet above the historic Greek Amphitheater in the heart of the city, the world's elite ice climbers battled it out. The competition showcased two disciplines--leadclimbing and speed climbing--and the results were thrilling. And Eldo's walls provided the perfect canvas for the artistry of the routesetters and the climbers.
Here is a great piece from CBS4 Denver interviewing our team on the ground during the construction of the wall and the creation of the ice.
