Climbing Wall Construction Crew Member

Eldorado Climbing Walls’ Construction Crew Members install custom climbing walls large and small made of a variety of materials in facilities throughout North America. Crew sizes range from 3 to 10 members and projects last from one week to several months. Construction Crew Members must be proficient in many construction processes and techniques including carpentry, welding, plastering, shotcrete, and general construction. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction and a propensity for learning the details of specific types of Eldorado Climbing Walls.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of professional construction experience
  • 1+ carpentry experience and knowledge of woodworking tools
  • Ownership of basic tools and tool belt
  • Colorado residence
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while providing a high quality, aesthetically pleasing finished product
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation and team orientation
  • Ability to travel and live on the road 8 -10 months/year
  • Ability to lift 75lbs
  • Ability to work at height
  • Ability to work on your feet all day
  • Commercial job site experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and plans preferred
  • Welding, carpentry and concrete/plaster/shotcrete skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading of trucks at job site (5%)
  • Staging of materials and tools at the job site (5%)
  • Installation of custom climbing walls using carpentry, welding, plastering and concrete skills (80%)
  • Creation and maintenance of a clean and safe job site (10%)
  • Represent Eldorado Climbing Walls in a professional manner
Compensation: Hourly wage commensurate with experience. Transportation, lodging and per diem are provided during projects.

Wood Shop Foreman

Eldorado Climbing Walls’ Wood Shop Foreman leads and manages a team of 3 - 6 crew members in the production of custom climbing walls and product orders. In addition to managing the production of 1 - 3 climbing walls simultaneously, the Wood Shop Foreman will also manage the wood warehouse including materials inventory and management, equipment and tool inventory and maintenance, and packing of product orders/ custom climbing wall projects. Knowledge of basic construction methodologies and knowledge of wood cutting, painting, blueprint reading, and fasteners are integral to this position.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of company objectives and evaluate what actions our Wood shop operations should take to meet those objectives
  • Manage all day to day production/fabrication operations for the wood shop
  • Assign daily tasks to fabricators and manage workflow
  • Train all wood shop staff in the proper fabrication methods and use of tools and equipment
  • Design and implement quality control procedures for all aspects of product and climbing wall production.
  • Manage inventory of all wood and paint materials, custom project materials, and wood shop and road tools
  • Completes maintenance and repairs for all wood shop tooling and equipment.
  • Administers company policies and procedures and ensures that staff adhere to such procedures
  • Assists Production Manager in conducting wood shop employee performance reviews on a regular basis in order to help staff reach company and personal goals
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of wood shop operations
  • Assures safe work practices within the shop facilities and conducts weekly safety meeting
  • Facilitate an organized and clean working environment
Skills / Requirements:
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Experience managing crew sizes of 4 – 7
  • 2+ years’ experience in carpentry and general construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and scheduling skills
  • Ownership of basic tools and tool belt
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints and plans
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation and team orientation
  • Ability to lift 50 -100 lbs and stand, squat, or kneel for 8-10 hours at a time

Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator owns the customer service function, drives product specific sales, fulfills online orders, and helps manage CRM database. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the in-house sales team and independent sales representatives globally.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for leads generated online, incoming sales, and customer service phone calls.
  • Enters prospect and project data into CRM system.
  • Manages the sales of equipment and modular products including internal communications with other departments.
  • Prepares pricing and scope proposals for modular product projects and others as needed.
  • Provide sales and marketing collateral, information, and tools to potential clients.
  • Keeps sales and marketing collateral inventory current.
  • Attends trade shows as determined by Senior Director of Sales or CEO.
  • Executes ad hoc sales reporting as needed.
  • Assists Marketing department as needed.
  • Performs other tasks as determined by Senior Director of Sales.
  • Provides general administrative support including providing project proposals, product samples, and collateral.

Skills / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater.
  • Two plus years experience in marketing, sales, customer/dealer service or other relevant experience
  • Business to business sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of FileMaker and QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Ability travel up to 20%.
  • Interest, knowledge and/or passion for climbing is a plus.

Wood Shop Production Crew Member

Eldorado Climbing Walls’ Production Crew Members manufacture custom climbing walls large and small made of a variety of materials. Wood Shop Production Crew Members must be proficient working in a team setting and utilizing construction processes focusing on wood panel production for Panelized walls Systems. Additional skills in welding, carpentry, concrete, shotcrete, and general construction would be ideal. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting and a propensity for learning the details of specific types of Eldorado Climbing Walls. This is a full time position at the Louisville, CO office.

  • 2+ years of professional warehouse or construction experience

  • An emphasis on quality control
  • Ability to quickly learn the structural and mechanical details for the construction of all Eldorado Climbing Walls

Packing & Shipping Technician

Eldorado Climbing Walls builds rock climbing walls and products for the climbing industry as well as many other clients. ECW is looking to add a warehouse crew member who will be responsible for the packing and loading/shipping of projects and products as well as overseeing tool inventory and maintenance, equipment receipt and shipping, and various other tasks to support our installation teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting and a propensity for learning the details of specific types of Eldorado Climbing Walls. This is a full time position at the Louisville, CO office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional warehouse or construction experience
  • Excellent organizational and inventory skills
  • An emphasis on quality control, organization, and cleanliness
  • Ability to quickly learn the structural and mechanical details for the construction of all Eldorado Climbing Walls
